Friendly personel and beer is not that expensive. The pint of Super Bock was at 3€.
I went there to watch the Rugby World Cup. Many people were watching and having a great time. Service was at the table so that we don't have to stand up to the bar and miss the game.
There are multiple TV's inside and one outside (not sure if it's still there in winter). A schedule of the match showed at the bar is written in the front.
I recommend this place if you ever want to follow an important match and have a beer. They also have Somersby and Carlsberg on tap

The best bar in Monte Gordo! The staff is super friendly and the drinks are really nice! It's a little pricey, but it doesn't hurt every once in a while! The music is also of a good taste and definitely puts you in a relaxed and vacation-friendly mood. There are some super exquisite drinks that you can get, and you should try at least one, they're delicious!
Ok bar. Doesn't look the cleanest Beer was flat. Good music tho.
Considering the presentation, taste and the fact that our orders all came as expected and not in a fishy way (for example, my drink had vodka and it actually had a great amount of it. There's lot of places where they use very little of the most expensive drinks), I think the pricing is just right. However, it took a lot of time for our order to arrive, which is why I'm giving it 4 stars. Also, the toilet was very clean if I remember correctly

Cash only. John's bar is the best bar in Monte gordo. It may seem small, but in fact it has three floors, including a dungeon!
There are 3 TVs and the guys will put on whatever game you want if you ask nicely.
We visited during August 2019 this is a very popular bar & no wonder! The staff are so friendly, excellent choice of drinks & cocktails at very reasonable prices & if you like sport & good music this is the place to go. Brilliant!
